Penang DCM arrives for second day of questioning by MACC


GEORGE TOWN: Penang Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Mohamad Abdul Hamid has arrived at the Malaysian Anti‑Corruption Commission (MACC) office here for the second day of interviews on Tuesday (March 3). On Monday (March 2), Mohamad spent about seven hours being grilled by MACC officers. ALSO READ: DCM quizzed for seven hoursMACC has so far recorded statements from 63 people in connection with the allegations. Among those summoned were Penang State Islamic Religious Council (MAINPP) officers and staff members, the state mufti, State Secretary, state financial officer and state legal adviser. Members of the state Zakat Board, including its officers and employees, were also called to assist in the probe.
