People from various backgrounds in Kozhikode came together to pay their respects to the late former Chief Minister of Kerala, Oommen Chandy, who passed away in Bengaluru on Tuesday. Known as a popular figure in politics, Mr. Chandy had a remarkable ability to connect with people and showed great compassion for the underprivileged. As Chief Minister, he played a pivotal role in promoting unity among different faiths and communities. Reflecting on their interactions with Mr. Chandy, Kozhikode MP M.K. Additionally, during his tenure as Chief Minister, Mr. Chandy entrusted the society with the construction of the Valiyazheekkal bridge in Alappuzha.
