On whether City are in a good place after seven straight wins: "We are not. Some important players are coming back so let's [go] step by step, game by game [and see] what's going to happen." After being wholly reliant on Erling Haaland at the beginning of this season, the City boss stressed it was "really important" players such as Rayan Cherki and Phil Foden continued to chip in with goals. Looking ahead to the January transfer window, Guardiola said "anything can happen" given the current state of his squad.
