The case was scheduled to go to trial later this month, but Tompros’ team was able to reach a settlement with Infowars instead. According to the settlement, Infowars is also required to destroy any existing copies of the poster that remain in its possession or control. But the Pepe memes continued. “The focus of our enforcement efforts have been commercial uses of Pepe,” Tompros said.
