Fanshawe didn’t capture only their school’s first Canadian collegiate volleyball championship Saturday night in Red Deer. ON CAMPUS: The fourth-seeded Fanshawe women’s team swept the No. 6 Briercrest Clippers 3-0 to take home a national bronze medal – the highest finish in program history – at Niagara College this weekend . The three-time Ontario university champion at 1,500 and 3,000 metres swept both races for double Canadian gold. The Western women’s team finished in the bronze medal position at the meet while the men were fourth.
