Pescara president looking to sell up after arson attack - Football

(Reuters) - Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani said on Tuesday that he was looking to sell his stake in the club after an overnight arson attack destroyed two of his cars following the club's 6-2 defeat to Lazio at the weekend. Sebastiani was quoted by Italian media saying he was outraged and embittered following the attack and could resign at the end of the season. He later told Italian news agency ANSA that he would only leave the club if somebody bought him out. The defeat to Lazio on Sunday left Pescara four points adrift at the bottom of Serie A and 13 points behind 17th-placed Empoli. Serie A issued a statement on its website condemning the arson as a "disgraceful act of vandalism".
