The anonymous shop owner from Hebei Province, China, had left the fish in her store before leaving for week's holiday during particularity freezing temperatures. Parts of China have recently been hit by a sudden and unexpected cold snap, catching many people, including the pet shop owner, off guard. The man, called Tansu Yegen, tweeted: "Alligators survive in frozen swamps by sticking their noses through the ice to breathe.
