LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Three businesses in the Las Vegas area received citations and penalties by the state last week, according to the Division of Industrial Relations. During the week beginning August 17, officials conducted 158 follow up visits finding a 99 percent compliance rate statewide. In instances where the inquiry process does not provide a satisfactory response or resolution of the complaint, an investigation is opened. Workplace health and safety complaints can be reported to the Division by filing an online complaint at osha.gov.
