Phil Neville sexist? England Women's boss tweets uncovered

New England Women's head coach Phil Neville has deleted his Twitter account after a series of sexist historic posts on social media were uncovered. Neville was confirmed as the new boss of the Lionesses on Tuesday evening — replacing Mark Sampson — and was handed a deal which will see him coach the side until the 2021 UEFA Women's Championship. But eagle eyed social media users spotted a series of tweets, including one in which he seemed to make light of domestic abuse. And he replied to his sister Tracey Neville, the England netball coach, 'U women of always wanted equality until it comes to paying the bills #hypocrites (sic).' Prior to deleting his account, Neville wrote: 'Extremely proud and honoured to be the head coach of the @Lionesses and I'm unbelievably excited about the challenges ahead!!'
