Philip Rivers is feeling emotional about Chargers’ move to Los Angeles

Philip Rivers describes himself as “numb.” (Denis Poroy/AP)For Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, his team’s decision to move from San Diego to Los Angeles is complicated. On the one hand, the longtime proponent of remaining in San Diego said the move to L.A. has left him feeling forlorn, but on the other, he said, he must embrace the change. “I’m a little bit numb about it all,” the 35-year-old told a San Diego radio station on Friday, a day after the team announced the move. The emotion came through in his voice, which cracked at times during the 20-minute conversation.
