The first seven of 15 planned “Pee Too Roo Took Reung” (post boxes that know everything) represent another step in the government’s “Thailand 4.0” initiative. All nine of Phitsanulok’s districts will have one by the end of the month, a source at the provincial post office said on Wednesday. They’re at the Post Office’s Riverside branch on Phutthabucha Road, the province’s airport and train station, the bus terminal on Mitraparp Road, Wat Phrasri Rattana Mahathat (Luangpor Phra Buddhachinnarat), the Chan Royal Palace Historical Centre, and the Sergeant Major Thawee Folk Museum. Phitsanulok was selected for the pilot project because of its strategic role as a logistics hub for commerce at the “Indochina Intersection”. Thailand Post Co is seeking to help prepare the province for the digital economy.
