I had to leave my home because my mother couldn't accept me. My mother didn't handle it well. I have a friend who stayed there, and when they found out he was gay they beat him up mercilessly. And it's so much harder to be on the streets when you have no money in your pocket. I would sleep in overnight laundramats, or 24 hour McDonalds (but they wake you up if you put your head down).
