Demonstrators gathered in cities across the country on Friday evening into Saturday morning, to protest Monday’s killing of George Floyd while in police custody. Prosecutors in Hennepin County, Minn., on Friday filed third-degree murder and manslaughter charges against Mr. Chauvin. The charges followed several days of mounting calls by civil-rights leaders and others for Mr. Chauvin to be criminally charged. Minnesota Gov.
