CAIRO - 5 January 2021: The Public Prosecution initiated Wednesday investigations into a multi-vehicle crash on the Middle Ring Road highway near 15 May City in Cairo, which left one person dead and eight others wounded. The accident took place when a large truck collided with 13 cars that were parked on the roadside until cleaning up debris left by a previous accident, Public Prosecution said in a statement. Eight of the light cars caught fire due to the collision, some of which were fully ablaze, it added. The truck driver was taken into custody for drug tests.
