After over a year away, hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid wasted no time in grilling the MP about Brexit, coronavirus and ongoing news stories. The MP hit back: "You want to tell me how to react to something as a black man? Also in the interview, he repeatedly called out Piers and Susanna for talking over him as he tried to answer questions. Piers slammed him for this suggesting it wasn't made clear, before asking why a trade deal had not been planned in advance. A third added: "Watching Piers and Suzanna trying to interview a politician this morning #GMB car crash... let people talk!"
