Amman [Jordan], Dec 27 (ANI): Syria’s armed forces said a military jet was downed by insurgents in northern Hama province on Tuesday, in which the pilot was killed. Militant group Tahrir al Sham – a fighting force dominated by members of Al Qaeda’s former branch in Syria – said it hit the plane, the local media reported. The western central province has seen aerial strikes by the Russian and Syrian air forces.
