It is learnt that the recommendation is acceptable to all 30 senior secondary boards in the country. New Delhi, Aug. 6: A panel set up by the human resource development ministry has recommended a uniform syllabus in math and science subjects for Classes XI-XII across all senior secondary boards. However, if a state board so wishes, it can have a few additional chapters over and above the uniform syllabus. In 2010, the HRD ministry had initiated a move for a uniform syllabus in science and commerce subjects. Till last year, the Odisha syllabus varied significantly from national boards, he said.
