The plan to sell Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company to a French firm was mooted at the Ministry of Water and Irrigation offices, it has emerged. Gichuki said that it was from the Maji House meeting that the representatives of SUEZ facilitated NCWSC, City Hall, and Arthi Water Services officials to visit Morocco. "We were to send two technical persons, one from City Hall and the other from Arthi Water Services Company." He said that after being taken through the operations of SUEZ, they realised the firm had nothing new to offer Nairobi Water.
