Sony has officially registered the name PS5 in Europe, according to a new report by LetsGoDigital. LetsGoDigital explained: “The Japanese game manufacturer had the name PS5 registered at the IGE IPI (Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property) on January 27, 2020. The official introduction followed on February 20.”The trademark registration comes shortly after rumours suggested that Sony could launch the console at an even ton February 29. Could this be it?”While previous rumours suggested an earlier launch date of February 5, fans have noticed that Sony does not have any events at Sony Hall that night.
