JOHOR BARU: A couple has demonstrated exceptional neighbourly love by taking care of their neighbours’ children for more than a year while their parents were stranded in Singapore. Aside from sharing home-cooked meals with the children, they also helped buy daily essentials and made sure they were safe. Recently, the neighbours decided to apply to the Malaysian and Singaporean governments to bring their children over. We are happy they finally got to reunite with their parents, ” said Muthusamy, who had worked in Singapore for 28 years before retiring. He added that they had no problem helping to look after the children for the past one year.
