(from Pleasantville Schools)In light of the COVID-19 school shutdown, Pleasantville Schools is expanding our 1:1 student computer program to include any and all Pleasantville students in grades PK-12. Starting Tuesday (March 31st), Pleasantville Students / Families will be able to check out a school-issued computer / electronic device to keep at home for the duration of the COVID-19 school shutdown. If interested, please try and complete the online device request form by 9:00 am on Monday so our staff can plan accordingly for device checkouts. After completing the online electronic device request form, students / families should make plans to stop by Pleasantville Elementary on Tuesday next week to get their device(s). Additionally, we are pleased to share that the Pleasantville School Board approved an emergency purchase of a new security package that will be installed on all Pleasantville student laptops and electronic devices PK-12 effective immediately.
