With Pokémon: Detective Pikachu released in May, we are starting to see more trailers for the film and the latest is rather adorable. What’s more, we know that a follow-on movie has already been greenlit for production before this one is even out. Of all the major movies based on Japanese properties, I still feel that Pokémon: Detective Pikachu has the best chance of being decent. The mixture of live-action and CG characters seems to work here as the CG parts have been undertaken with more care. In any case, we will know for sure if Pokémon: Detective Pikachu measures up to our expectations when it is released on May 10.
