A suspect in the fatal shooting of the reputed boss of the Gambino crime family was taken into custody Saturday, according to New York City Police Department officials. NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea identified the suspect as Anthony Comello, 24 years old. Mr. Comello was taken into custody in New Jersey, and the NYPD has an arrest warrant to extradite him back to New York City.
