A 17-year-old told investigators that he fatally shot an elderly couple and was planning to cause harm at his high school in eastern Wisconsin, police said Monday. No information has been provided on why Krause shot the couple. Investigators learned about the school plan in talking with Krause and recovered documentation relating to it, Waas said. The school district released a statement Monday saying police determined there was no danger to students and staff at the high school and that the school day would proceed as normal. Additional counselors were available to students and there was an extra police presence at the high school, the district said.
