Police arrested 16 people this morning, including Democratic lawmaker Ted Hui Chi-fung and Lam Cheuk-ting relating to last year’s social unrest. Two of them are Hui and Lam, and they are now detained at the Sheung Shui police station and Western police station. Police spokesman said on July 6, a group of protesters gathered outside Tuen Mun police station. Lam was arrested at 6:00 am at his residence, his social media manager wrote on Lam’s Facebook page. On July 6 last year, about 400 anti-government protesters gathered outside the Tuen Mun Police Station at night.
