In a statement signed by DCOP Francis Yiribaare, the police said three of the suspects, Iddrisu Sidibey (19), Abdulai Bandey (20), and Suleman Issah Zibrim (23), were apprehended in the Chogsia community. The statement added that the suspects are linked to two robbery incidents involving victims Thomas Dormatey and Issah Ibrahim. The police further disclosed that on March 11, 2026, suspect Abdulai Bandey led officers to arrest an accomplice, Abdul Rahman Abdulai, at Gojiyiri near Wechau. It added that two other suspects, identified as Adil and Sambo, are currently on the run and are being pursued by the police. The arrested suspects have been arraigned before the Wa District Magistrate Court and remanded into custody.
