Dele Ogunyemi, WarriOperatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested some of the gunmen who invaded a police checkpoint in Ogwashi-Uku Community and stabbed to death an Inspector, the Commissioner of Police for the State Command, Mr. Mohammed Hafiz Inuwa has announced. Gunmen attacked policemen on a routine "Stop and search" duty along Obasanjo Farms in Ogwashi-Uku Community on Thursday, January 23, during which a police Inspector was stabbed to death and some others were inflicted with bodily injuries. "We have got about two of them already and we are making progress on how to get the remaining people. But as God may have it, we are making progress. "They stabbed an Inspector and he is late now.
