Husban­d confes­sed to killin­g his wife in order to take over her housePESHAWER: Police successfully resolved the murder of female Careem driver Nabeela Amber alias Kanwal and arrested her husband on Monday. Addressing a press conference at Gulbahar police station, ASP Hassan Jehangir stated that Nabeela was killed by her husband Abdul Basit, who initially told the police that his wife had been killed in an armed robbery. The husband confessed to killing his wife in order to take control of her house. We recovered five cellphones and a motor car from his possession, Basit killed his wife in order to take control of her house,” added the police official. The accused will be produced before the court and a case has already been registered against him.
