According to police reports, a total of GH₵1,000 and $22,350 were stolen, along with other valuables. A search of Afotey’s room led to the recovery of the stolen cash, as well as several other suspected stolen items, including gold watches, jewelry, mobile phones, and a television set. The arrest and recovery have been widely reported, with a video showcasing the recovered items and the suspect.
