Crime & Punishment of Monday, 16 March 2026Source: GNAThe Police have arrested a suspect in connection with unlawful entry and stealing at Spintex in Accra. Police investigations led to the arrest of the suspect, identified as Daniel Odai Afotey, at Labone Beach on March 11, 2026, following intelligence gathered by the Police. A search conducted in the suspect’s room led to the recovery of the stolen items and other suspected stolen items, including gold watches, jewellery, mobile phones, and a television set. During interrogation, the suspect admitted to the offence and mentioned an accomplice identified only as “Ewonam”, who is currently at large. The suspect will be arraigned on Monday, March 16, 2026.
