Crime & Punishment of Saturday, 21 March 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comThe Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in connection with a fraudulent bank withdrawal involving more than GH¢20,000 in Kasoa in the Central Region. According to a statement from the Central East Regional Police Command, the suspects Prince Boadu (26), Emmanuel Adjei Opoku (26), and Eric Owusu (23) were apprehended following intelligence-led investigations. The victim indicated that he had deposited GH¢20,180.00 at a bank in Kasoa on October 16, 2025. “On 2nd November, 2025, the complainant reported that he had deposited an amount of GHC 20,180.00 into his account at a bank in Kasoa on 16th October, 2025. “The Command remains resolute in its efforts to arrest and prosecute individuals involved in such criminal activities,” the statement noted.
