Police have arrested a young man in Chattogram’s Boalkhali Upazila who allegedly sexually harassed children while tutoring them at his house. The suspect, identified only as Imtiaz, was apprehended from his Munshipara residence on Wednesday night. Boalkhali Police chief Mahfuzur Rahman told bdnews24.com that the abuse allegedly took place at the teacher’s house. Police allege the suspect systematically subjected the children to prolonged sexual abuse. The children have already provided their statements before a court under Section 22 of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
