On August 7, Reshma Nahar Ratna, 33, was crushed under the wheels of a car while cycling on Crescent Lake Road near the parliament building in Dhaka. Reshma's brother-in-law, Md Monir Hossain, filed a case regarding Reshma’s death with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station on the day of the incident.
