Police have cordoned off a house in Taupo following a reported sudden death at the address. Police are carrying out a scene examination at the house in Norman Smith St following reports of a sudden death of a 61-year-old man. Police were first notified on Monday evening. The cause of death has yet to be determined and a post-mortem will be carried out today. A police spokesperson said that police officers were liaising with the family to ensure that they got the support that they needed.
