It was gathered that the escorts drove against the traffic on the road around 10.25am and were cautioned by the personnel as other motorists followed them. Also, a motorist in a Mazda bus with number plate AAA 249 VX knocked down an FRSC officer at the Kwakiyama area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The first crash, which occurred at the Oremeji area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, involved a Toyota bus with number plate 50 L156 FG. Another crash, which occurred at the Mountain Top University area of the expressway, involved a Hyundai car with number plate KRD 997 FM. The FRSC Sector Commander, Clement Oladele, urged motorists to drive cautiously as the driver/owner of any vehicle impounded risk prosecution and seizure.
