Police are investigating footage of an officer smashing through a car windscreen and hacking at it with a knife after the video went viral on social media last night. The footage was recorded by the driver after he was pulled over by Metropolitan police in north London on Friday evening. It shows one officer repeatedly shouting for the driver to get out of the car, before smashing part of the windscreen with his baton.
