Police are hoping a pair of gloves found at the scene of an Auckland assault will lead to the attacker. NZ POLICE Police have released CCTV footage as they investigate the assault of a woman who woke up in an Auckland quarry to find a man standing over her with a bat. The woman didn't remember anything from the time she was in Ponsonby to when she woke up in the quarry. A silver car, possibly a Ford Mondeo, was seen driving into the quarry at 1.46am on Sunday.
