Police are investigating a report that a woman was dragged by her hair from her car during a hijacking in Belfast. A young child was in the car during the incident in the Markets area of south Belfast on Friday. A man reportedly flagged down a woman driving a cream Renault Captur with a black roof on Stewart Street, indicating that she had an issue with her car. When the driver pulled over to check, she was dragged by her hair from the vehicle by the man. She and her child were ordered to get out of the car before the man drove off in the direction of the Ormeau Road.
