Two men tried to enter the woman’s property on Clarkin Rd, Fairfield at around 9pm yesterday and assaulted her after she confronted them, Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Neilson said. The duo fled the address towards River Rd, leaving the victim with injuries requiring hospitalisation.
