A police officer attached to Kiambiu Police Post, Kamukunji sub-county has been arrested and detained on suspicion of defiling a 15 year old girl while at the camp. Police Constable, Joseph Njogu, was arrested on Wednesday and placed in custody at Shauri Moyo Police Station. BODIES DISCOVEREDA homemade pistol capable of firing and eight rounds of 9mm ammunition were recovered from the suspect. In Mathare two thugs were also shot dead by the police after they attacked and injured an employee of China WUU road Construction Company on Wednesday. Police on patrol responded to the attacked man’s distress call and shot dead two of the suspects as their accomplices fled.
