A Homa Bay Administration Police officer on Sunday took her life by setting herself ablaze together with her two children who also perished in the incident. Mutonyi said that police had begun their investigations into the incident, though colleagues speculated that the incident may have come after a family conflict back home. “I was informed by a junior officer that one of their colleagues had committed suicide. Mr Mutonyi said that the officer had recently been posted in Homa Bay after her stint in Kisumu where she hails from. Constable Judith Gallant took the action after what is believed to have been a family feud back home.
