The Police in Ogun State said it recovered 63 arms and ammunitions in the last two weeks from suspected criminals. The State Police Commissioner, Kenneth Ebrimson, stated this on Tuesday while parading 32 suspects arrested for various offences. Ebrinsom said 12 varieties of arms and 51 ammunitions were recovered within two weeks of the launch of ‘Operation Restore Hope’. The Police boss said the suspected criminals were arrested for offences ranging from kidnapping, murder, cultism and armed robbery. The CP said due diligence and tactical deployment led to the successful mop-up of criminals by the men from special units such as the Anti-Kidnapping, Anti-Cultism, SARS and conventional policemen in the team of Operation Restore Hope.
