Police responded to a collision shortly before 9 p.m. in the area of Sheppard Ave. E. and Allanford Rd. They found a 79-year-old man, who had been crossing the street when he was struck, and rushed him to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Toronto police have released a photo of a vehicle wanted in relation to a hit-and-run Wednesday evening. Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers to contact investigators if they have security or dash-cam footage of the incident.
