The Akwa Ibom State Police Command says it has successfully rescued a three-year-old girl abducted in Abak Local Government Area and arrested a suspect, following a swift, intelligence-driven response to a distress call on Wednesday. The dramatic rescue, which occurred barely hours after the incident was reported, has been widely commended as a major boost to public confidence in security efforts across the state.
