Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has urged city residents to inform authorities if Awami League leaders or activists are staying at any flats, messes, student hostels, or hotels. DMP Additional Commissioner SN Nazrul Islam said on Wednesday that sharing information about members of a banned organisation is a “citizen duty”. The remarks came during a press conference held to update the media on the arrest of 244 people during the Awami League’s flash procession in Dhaka.
