EDMONTON—The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) is now investigating after a shocking video appears to show a Lethbridge Police Service vehicle being driven repeatedly over an injured deer. The police vehicle then continues to run over the deer multiple times, going back and forth, until someone from the vehicle gets out, checks on the dead deer and then moves it to the side of the road. As a result, the director of law enforcement determined that ASIRT should conduct an investigation,” ASIRT said in a news release Wednesday.
