It will be a toss between Gautam Gambhir, who has come back to the Indian team after a hiatus of two years and out of form, Shikhar Dhawan. We decided to do a poll between the two openers and the fans overwhelmingly voted in Gambhir's favour. Gambhir, who had landed in Kolkata on Wednesday, had a lengthy discussion with Kohli which was peppered with some laughs. Drafted into the Test side after more than two years, Gambhir was later seen chatting with team India coach Anil Kumble even as he did not bats long in the nets. The duo faced only a few deliveries in the fag end of the two-hour practice but skipper Kohli later clarified that no inference could be drawn from the practice session.
