Chart-topping British pop singer Tom Grennan has been hospitalised after a physical assault in New York City. Tom is currently being assessed by doctors for his injuries which include a ruptured ear, torn eardrum and issue with his previously fractured jaw. Despite this Tom is in good spirits but needs to temporarily recuperate while doctors assess his ability to continue with his touring. The Bedford-born singer, 26, previously suffered a physical assault aged 18 by a group of strangers, that left him needing a metal plate and screws in his jaw for life. The latter track was nominated for song of the year at this year’s Brit awards, and he was also nominated in the rock/alternative category.
