Bearsden Community Hub and Halls were advised that RAAC is present in the rear section of the facility after structural engineers undertook recent survey work. The building allegedly closed on Thursday, October 5 and today, East Dunbartonshire Council have announced that more RAAC has been detected on various roofs of the buildings and needs to be removed. As a result, the Hub and car park will remain closed until works are completed. Further investigations into RAAC usage in Bearsden Community Hub has shown that it is present in the various roofs of the buildings at the rear and needs to be removed. In-person customer service delivery will remain available from the three other Community Hubs in Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch and Lennoxtown.
