The demand shows electric vehicle sales are starting to take hold as carmakers spend billions to meet tightening emissions regulation. In Germany, the region's largest car market, about a quarter percent of Panamera models are partly battery-powered. RUPTLY Porsche's new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid will be released in 2018, but first it went on display at the Paris Motor Show in October. Global automakers are spending record amounts on new electric models to comply with stricter emission limits worldwide.
